It narrates your subtitle text — spoken subtitles — and can announce scene changes inferred from long gaps between cues. It reads the file you give it; it does not watch the video or analyse frames, so it won't describe anything that isn't already written in the subtitles.
SRT, VTT, ASS/SSA, TTML, LRC and JSON. Drop a file in and the format is detected automatically; if it can't be identified you can set it yourself. The page counts the cues it found before you spend anything, so a file that parses to zero cues is caught up front rather than after you're charged.
Yes. Pick a language under "Narrate in" and the subtitles are translated before they're spoken, so the narration comes out in that language. Leave it on "Same language" to narrate the subtitles as written.
Two credits per generation, and you need to be signed in. The result is a WAV file you can play in the page or download, along with the narration transcript so you can check the wording before you ship it.
