Bake lyrics straight into your MP3 file
Write plain or LRC-synced lyrics into an MP3's ID3 tag, so the words travel with the file instead of in a separate .lrc sitting beside it. Plain text goes to USLT; an LRC goes to SYLT plus a plain USLT copy.

What you receive
🎵 yesterday_with_lyrics.mp3 (3:42, 5.3 MB) ID3 frames written: SYLT 18 sync points USLT same 18 lines, timestamps stripped Left untouched: TIT2 · TPE1 · TALB · APIC cover MPEG audio frames — no re-encode
How to use this tool
- 01
Upload an MP3
Up to 100 MB. The file on your machine is never touched — we tag a server-side copy and hand it back as a download.
- 02
Paste your lyrics
Plain text or LRC both work. Paste an LRC while Plain Text is selected and the page spots the [mm:ss.xx] timestamps and offers to switch.
- 03
Pick mode
Plain Text writes one USLT frame. LRC writes a SYLT frame with one sync point per line, plus a USLT copy of the same words with the timestamps stripped.
- 04
Download the tagged MP3
The download is named after your file with _with_lyrics added, so it never lands on top of the original.
Why use this tool
Both lyric frames, one pass
An LRC lands in SYLT for players that highlight in time, and in USLT for the many that only read plain text. You don't choose between them.
Format detection
Timestamps pasted into plain mode are detected before you submit, so an LRC never gets written into USLT as literal '[00:08.12]' text.
Audio never re-encoded
Only the ID3 tag is rewritten. The MPEG frames are copied through untouched, so a 320 kbps file stays a 320 kbps file.
Your other tags survive
Title, artist, album, artwork and comments are left alone, and the file's existing ID3v2 version is kept — a v2.4 tag is not quietly rewritten as v2.3.
