Convert between audio formats
Turn an MP3, FLAC, WAV, OGG, AAC or M4A into MP3, FLAC, WAV or OGG. Native FFmpeg does the encode on our servers with a tuned preset per target, and the result streams straight back to your browser.

How to use this tool
- 01
Drop your audio
MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG/OPUS, AAC or M4A/MP4, up to 100 MB. Anything else is rejected in the browser rather than after a long upload.
- 02
Pick the target
MP3, FLAC, WAV or OGG Vorbis. Each card tells you what quality it will produce before you commit.
- 03
Download the result
The converted file streams back and saves under your original name with the new extension.
Why use this tool
Tuned presets, no flags to learn
MP3 encodes with LAME at quality 2 — roughly 190 kbps VBR, transparent for most listening. OGG uses Vorbis quality 5, about 160 kbps. WAV is 16-bit PCM and FLAC uses the default compression level.
Deleted right after
Your upload and the converted file live in a temporary directory that is removed as soon as the download has streamed. Nothing is kept and nothing is used for training.
No duration cap
A long podcast, DJ set or lecture converts fine as long as it fits under 100 MB — there's no arbitrary minute limit, because transcoding is cheap. A 30-minute MP3 converts to FLAC in a couple of seconds.
Real error messages
When FFmpeg refuses a file you get the diagnostic line it produced, not a generic failure — so a truncated download or a corrupt header is identifiable rather than mysterious.
Who this tool is for
Streaming prep
Turn a WAV master into a FLAC for a distributor that wants lossless, or an MP3 for a direct-to-fan download.
Compatibility fixes
Convert an OGG or M4A into MP3 for a car stereo, an old DAP or a piece of hardware that only reads one format.
Editing handoff
Decode a lossy file to 16-bit WAV so a DAW or sampler that won't import compressed audio can load it.
