Frequently asked questions
No — it plays a finished LRC against your audio or video so you can watch the lyrics scroll in time. There is nothing to drag or retime here. To fix timing, use the Manual LRC Maker or the Word-Level Sync editor and bring the corrected file back.
It highlights the current line, not the current word. The reveal styles — word, character, glow, scramble — animate the words of a line as it becomes active, but they are timed to the line, not to per-word timestamps. If your file has enhanced <mm:ss.xx> word tags, the words are shown and the word timings are ignored. For true word-by-word karaoke, use the Word-Level Sync editor or the karaoke video renderer.
Not for playback. The media file and the .lrc are opened straight from your device and played locally — nothing is sent anywhere while you use the player. The one exception is the optional "generate lyrics" shortcut: that uploads the media file to our AI so it can transcribe and time it, and it spends a credit. Skip that button and the session stays entirely on your machine.
Any audio or video file your browser can play — MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, MP4, WebM and so on — paired with a .lrc file. Metadata tags in the LRC, like title and artist, are read and shown alongside the lyrics.
It appears only when lyrics generated here came back with a Latin-script version alongside the original — common for Hindi, Japanese or Korean songs, absent for Latin-script ones. Switching it changes what is displayed only; the original script is always kept as the real file.
