Line timing survives: every [mm:ss.xx] prefix and every metadata tag is copied through untouched, so the translated file still lines up with the audio. Word-level timings do not — if you feed in an enhanced LRC, the per-word <mm:ss.xx> tags are removed, because word boundaries do not survive a translation reliably. Keep the enhanced original if you need karaoke highlighting.
Yes, in LRC mode. Tick "Keep original" and each line is written twice under the same timestamp — the source line first, then the translation — which is what you want for a sing-along or a language-learning file. The option is only available with "LRC (preserve timestamps)" on, since plain text has no timestamp to pair the two lines against.
The picker offers English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, Russian, Turkish and Vietnamese, plus auto-detect on the source side. Naming the source language rather than leaving it on auto is worth doing — some of the translation engines behind this page cannot detect a source language for themselves.
It is free and needs no account. Your text is sent to our servers to be translated — this does not run in your browser — and you can paste up to 80,000 characters, with a limit of 30 translations every five minutes.
When every translation engine is unavailable the page returns your text unchanged rather than failing. If the output looks identical to the input, try again in a moment, and set the source language explicitly instead of leaving it on auto-detect.
